THE PROOF

Look What Happens When You Zoom In

Both files started as the same logo. The left side is the raster PNG you started with. The right side is the vector SVG we generated. This is the difference between a clean print and a refund request.

RASTER (PNG)
Original raster PNG logo zoomed in — pixelated and blurry
Pixelated and blurry — embarrassing on a sign or shirt.
VECTOR (SVG)
Vectorized SVG logo zoomed in — edges remain crisp and clean
Crisp at any size — print on a billboard, still sharp.

Real output, real zoom. Vector edges stay mathematical paths; raster edges turn into squares.

THE PROBLEM

Why Every Print Job Starts with a Vector Logo

Every professional print shop, sign maker, and embroidery digitizer asks for the same thing when you send them a logo: a vector file. Not a PNG, not a JPG, not a screenshot. A real vector — because that's the only format that scales from a business card to a billboard without pixelating.

The problem is that most logos live as PNG or JPG. Client hands you the file, printer rejects it, you need to vectorize it fast. The traditional path — Adobe Illustrator's Image Trace, hand-redrawing in Inkscape — takes 30–90 minutes per logo and produces a flat, uneditable trace. Not what a real agency workflow needs.

We built this for that workflow. Drop any logo image; we hand you a multi-layer SVG — every color on its own editable path, background removed, in 10 seconds. Agencies use it as the first step in the print-preflight pipeline. Print shops use it to rescue client-supplied rasters. USPTO accepts the SVG output directly for trademark filings. Free.

USE CASES

Built for Every Print Job You've Got

Once your logo is a true vector, it works on every printer, cutter, and embroidery machine — at any size. Here's what people use the result for:

👕
T-shirts & Apparel
Screen printing & DTG printers need vector to keep edges crisp at shirt size.
🪧
Signs & Banners
Storefront signs and trade-show banners scale up without pixelating.
💼
Business Cards
300+ DPI print needs vector logos to look professional, not blurry.
🧵
Embroidery
Stitch files require clean vector paths, not raster pixels.
✂️
Cricut & Silhouette
Cutting machines only read vector files. PNG won't work.
🔥
Laser Cutting
Laser cutters trace vector paths to engrave or cut.
🥤
Merch & Packaging
Mugs, stickers, boxes, labels — every printer wants SVG or PDF.
📑
Trademark Filing
USPTO accepts SVG and PDF vector formats for logo trademark applications.

Common Questions

Is this the same quality as manually tracing in Illustrator?
For logos, illustrations, and icons — yes, and often better. Our tracer separates every color onto its own path, which is exactly what Illustrator's Image Trace does at Best Quality. For extreme photographic detail, hand-tracing still wins.
Do print shops actually accept this SVG?
Yes. Standard SVG opens directly in Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, Affinity Designer, and every prepress tool. Print shops receive our output daily and treat it the same as an SVG exported from Illustrator.
Can I use this for trademark filing (USPTO / EUIPO)?
Yes. USPTO accepts SVG for logo submissions, and EUIPO accepts SVG or PDF. You can also export our SVG as a PDF from any vector editor if your filing platform prefers PDF.
How does this compare to Adobe Express and Vector Magic?
Adobe Express refuses many modern PNG/WebP exports. Vector Magic charges $9.95+ per download and its trace is single-layer. We accept every format, separate every color into editable layers, and let you download for free.
Will the vector be editable enough to change brand colors?
Yes. Every color in the source logo ends up on its own editable path in the SVG. Click Edit on Canvas to swap brand colors, or download the SVG and recolor in Illustrator, Inkscape, or Figma.
Can I convert an old scanned logo?
Yes. Scanned logos are one of the most common uses. Drop the scan in — we'll remove the paper background and rebuild the logo as a clean multi-layer vector ready to reprint at any size.
Does the logo need a transparent background?
No. If the logo has a solid or near-solid background (white paper scan, colored PNG), we remove it automatically during tracing. Transparent PNGs are also fine — the transparency carries through.
Can I convert logos for clients as an agency?
Yes. There's no per-seat license. Use it as often as you need for client work. Free plan is 3 conversions per day; the Pro pack unlocks 50 conversions.
Is the free SVG download watermarked?
No. Your free conversion downloads without any watermark. Ready for client delivery.
Can I use the SVG commercially or transfer it to a client?
Yes. The SVG belongs to you (or your client). Print, sell, license, or trademark — no royalty owed to LogoMakr.
